That is very nice! I just moved down here a couple of months ago and still trying to find a good vantage point of Rainier. Sadly the clouds seem to like it a lot too ;)

The best time to get a shot of Mt Rainier is the first clear day after a rainy day. Also might I recommend a road trip to Paradise

I will keep that in mind! It looks like it will be clear in a couple of days!

Is Paradise a town? I love road trips and always looking for neat things to capture.

In AK it was easier since the wilderness was so easily accessible. Basically look in any direction and drive like 15 minutes

Paradise is a trail to the bottom of Mt Rainier. You'd get great photo's from there!

Oh, yes! All my friends could not understand why I wanted to move so far from Seattle. I moved to live on beach-front property, across the Sound, in Home, WA. The back of the house was all glass. This was the view, across the water, people saw when they walked into the house.

I miss PNW and the green!

Oh it's glorious here. I plan to move closer to the water, well preferably almost on it once we're done refurbishing this house. The place I have in mind is also dead opposite of the sound, all that separates the housing is a small quiet road. It's beautiful, also has a great view of Mt Rainier to the left of it too
